Showing Scammers Their EXACT Location ON My Computer!

What happens when you reveal to a scammer that you know exactly where they’re sitting—down to the building, the floor, and the office? This is the story of how I traced a notorious scam call center in Punjab, India, and confronted them with live footage of their own location, forcing them into a panic they never saw coming.
How the Scam Works
It all begins with a simple Google search for tech support. A 76-year-old woman, struggling to set up her new printer, clicks the first sponsored link she sees. Instead of reaching Canon or HP, she lands on a fake support website designed to throw up error messages and funnel victims into a chat with scammers.
These scammers, working out of a modern office building in Sector 74, Mohali, Punjab, convince victims to install remote access software. Once connected, they claim the computer is out of warranty and demand payment—sometimes in wire transfers, sometimes in gift cards bought from stores like Walmart.
Turning the Tables
While the scammers try to access my computer, I reverse the connection and break into their network. From one compromised computer, I pivot to others, tapping into their phone calls, chats, and even their internal spreadsheets packed with thousands of victims’ personal details.
But the real breakthrough comes when I use network data and Wi-Fi signals to pinpoint their exact location: the IT Tower in Sector 74, Mohali. Cross-referencing company records, social media posts, and LinkedIn profiles, I confirm the two masterminds—Gerpinder and Rohit—are running Kinfo IT Solutions, the front for this entire scam operation.
Confronting the Scammers Live
Now it’s time for the reveal. I let the scammers connect to my computer, pretending to need printer help. As they move my mouse, I ask,
“Where are you calling from?”
“We’re in Seattle, Washington,” they reply.
But I flip the script:
“Do you recognize this building? The IT Tower in Punjab, Sector 74? Kinfo IT Solutions? I know exactly where you are, I know your names, I know everything about you.”
Their reaction is pure panic. They put me on hold, scramble to disconnect, and within minutes, the internet shuts down, their fake websites and phone numbers vanish, and even their Google business listing is marked as “temporarily closed.”
Saving Victims in Real Time
While monitoring the scam operation, I witness a victim about to buy $1,000 in Walmart gift cards. I quickly call the store manager, explain the scam, and she intervenes—saving the victim from losing thousands. Every day, these scammers collect personal data and store it in spreadsheets, selling it to data brokers and other criminals.
Tracing the Money
Digging deeper, I find the scammers use a US-based shell company, Basic Software Solutions, to process payments. But the real money flows back to India, with monthly thefts averaging $100,000 and annual totals exceeding $1.2 million. Photos from their social media show them celebrating birthdays and posing with expensive cars—all funded by stolen money.
Mapping the Scam Network
Kinfo IT Solutions: The main company, registered in India, run by Gerpinder and Rohit.
Basic Software Solutions: The US shell, used for payments, owned by Navr.
Office Location: IT Tower, Sector 74, Mohali, Punjab—confirmed by network data, Wi-Fi mapping, and physical visits.
Sabotage and Exposure
Armed with evidence, I report their Google AdSense and website to get them banned, send their AnyDesk IDs to block remote access, and notify PayPal and the FBI. I even manually refund victims where possible. After my confrontation, the scammers shut everything down—temporarily halting their operation and saving future victims.
